Honey Shrimps

Ingredients:
15 large shrimps cut lengthwise
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon thyme or savory   
20 grams butter
1 tbsp dill
1/2 lemon thinly sliced

Directions:
Using a non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil and the butter. Add the shrimps and fry them for 3 to 4 minutes until browned. Add garlic, dill, thyme, lemon and honey.
Cook together for 3 minutes.
Use rice and steamed vegetables as a side dish.

Beef Tenderloin with Caramelized Red Onions

Ingredients:

1 kilo beef tenderloin cut in portions
4 tbsp olive oil
50 grams butter
3 large red onions cut into 6 wedges
2 thick slices cooked ham cut into cubes
1/2 cup white or rose wine
2 tbsp honey
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon thyme
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Using a pot, stir-fry the meat in olive oil until browned.
Add herbs, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup of water.
Reduce heat and cook for 1 1/2 hour.
Using a skillet, brown the onions in butter.
Reduce with wine, add honey, salt and pepper and let onions slowly boil at low heat for about 20 minutes until they are fully caramelized.
When the sauce is ready, add the ham and reduce heat.
Serve the meat on a big platter with the sauce poured on top.
